I have always had a great passion for working with my hands. My mother is an artist and I am able to use those gifts in different ways. I really enjoy seeing a problem and using my talents to fix it. When I am not working on restoring teeth, I am often working on projects to restore and improve my home. My other interests include tailgating for college football games and outdoor activities including skiing, sailing and golfing.
My wife and I also have a great interest in travel. Through her work as a graduate student and now lecturer at MSU, we were able to visit wonderful places including Fiji, Hawaii, USVI, Solomon Islands, and Tahiti. We have a shared love of waterfalls and take every chance we can to seek them out.
Our family has grown to four with our chocolate lab and our daughter, Avery.
Dr. Peters is a member of the Michigan Dental Association and is serving a term on the Central District Dental Society Board of Ethics.
Andrea
Andrea graduated from the University of Michigan Dental Hygiene program in 1999 and is a full-time hygienist for our office. She was married in 2000 and has a walker coon hound named Chancey. Andrea is always busy planning her next fishing trip on Lake Michigan to catch salmon and enjoys going up North. She likes to ride ATVs and watches college football. Go Blue!
Amy
Amy has been with our office since 2004. You will usually hear her voice on the phone and see her at the front desk. You may also see her assisting Dr. Peters. She lives in Holt and has been married since 2001. She has three young sons, Noah Carter, Levi Cooper and Jude Colton. Amy is involved in the Cedar Street Church. She enjoys camping with her family.
Jeanine
Jeanine has been one of our hygienists since 2002. She and her husband live in Leslie with their Chesapeake bay retriever, Cooper. She is active in the Cedar Street Church. Jeanine enjoys hiking, canoeing, and trail bike riding. She also enjoys watching the NFL and cheering for her favorite team, the Cowboys.
Jennifer
As our primary dental assistant, Jennifer is Dr. Peters' second set of hands. She has been with our office since 2004. Jennifer is originally from the Grand Rapids area but currently lives in Grand Ledge where she and her husband, Joel, built their house in April of 2006. They just recently adopted a new bundle of fur, a cockapoo puppy named Teddy. They spend most of their summers at their cottage boating, skiing, tubing and parasailing.
Laura
Our Patient Coordinator, Laura, has been working here since 2007. She lives in Mason with her husband Steve, daughter Alix, their golden retriever and two cats. They enjoy camping, lots of outdoor sports and entertaining friends and family in their backyard.
